At Eco Valley Foundation we constantly need help with our various operations. Though some departments are more active during certain periods of the years, others are fully operational all year round.
On this webpage you will be able to find the different volunteer opportunities that the Eco Valley project in Krishna Valley has to offer to you.

Offsite volunteer opportunities:
PHP programmer
Description: We are in search of a PHP programmer. At first, this service can be done remotely with the option of doing the service on-sight in the future for the eligible candidate.
Requirements: Experienced PHP programmer.
Availability:This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity.
Video Editor
Description: We are in search of a skilled person who will be able to edit videos for us. This service can be done remotely or onsite.
Requirements: Able to work with video editing tools. Having your own video editing program is a plus.
Availability: This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity,
English-Hungarian-English translator
General info: We are in search of a person who can translate from English to Hungarian and Hungarian to English. At first, this service can be done remotely, with the option of doing the service on sight in the future for the eligible candidate.
Requirements: confidentiality, ability to translate short texts (1-2 paragraphs) within 24 hours and longer ones within a week.
Volunteer service availability: This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity.
Onsite volunteer opportunities:
Those who volunteer are expected to work for 7 hours per day for 5 days. Volunteers receive free accommodations at one of our guest houses (in a shared room with a shared bathroom) and three free meals per day.
Agricultural department
Description: Help in our vegetable field and large crop fields.
Requirements: Good physical health, ability to work outdoors, ability to work under various weather conditions.
Availability: Every year from April until October.
Fruit orchard and flower gardens
Description: Help with maintaining our flower gardens and fruit trees as well as harvesting fruits.
Requirements: For the fruit orchard we only accept volunteers that can come for three months. Reliable workers, good physical health, ability to work outdoors, ability to work under various weather conditions and withstand hard physical work for several hours.
Availability: Fruit orchard – March until October.
Flower gardens – June until August.
Restaurant
Description: This service involves helping in the preparation and serving of food in our restaurant.
Requirements: Ability to work in a kitchen, helping with cutting vegetables and preparing meals and helping with serving clients. Being a vegetarian is a plus.
Availability: Every year from May until October.
Guest Houses:
Requirements: Eye for detail, ability to clean, ability to maintain cleanliness, ability to work in a kitchen environment.
Description: This service involves helping with cleaning rooms as well as helping in the guest house’s restaurant (preparing and serving food).
Availability: Every year from May until October.
