Waste management

Within the current waste collection it is common, that the majority of the waste created in our eco-economy is compostable. The compost created by various technologies is used in gardening and in the crop fields. All other waste is first sorted before being collected.

Botanical garden

At the planning stages of the botanical garden (11 ha, more than 600 species), the streets and the tree planting of larger green areas, we try to take into consideration the needs of the village, along with the effects of a changing climate. Read on »

The Eco-valley programme has a wide range of experience related to bio farming (mostly in vegetables, fruit, and flower gardening), in field grown vegetable farming, community self support, and provides answers to questions about sustainable agriculture’s theories and real life experiences.
