Only a couple of months passed since the ratification of cooperation agreement between the Eco Valley Program and University of Pécs. The signatory to the agreement, the Department of European Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the University has already announced the “Eco Valley Research Seminar”.
Farkas Judit (PhD), official lecturer responsible for the research, introduced us the structure of the course: a one day tour in Krishna Valley, presentations, research reports and a one week field-work in the organic farm of Krishna Valley.
More then ten students have already registered for the subject. They will attend a comprehensive seminar on applied sustainability, principles and objectives of ecovillages, the Hungarian ecovillage movement as well as basic theology and history of Krishna-consciousness. They will also experience everyday routine of Krishna Valley’s environment-conscious life. All participants will carry out their own research in relation to Krishna Valley and the most remarkable ones will be published by the Eco Valley Program.
